In truth, la casse dans les manifestations, est un phénomène universel qui se produit, fré-quemment, et qui ne saurait servir de justificatif à l’utilisation d’armes à feu par les forces de l’ordre. Celle-ci, dans le cas du Cameroun , semble plutôt être exploitée comme une aubaine pour procéder à des démonstrations de force sanglantes contre des revendications populaires . Pour tout dire, une occasion d’intimider la population, de la dissuader d’organiser quelle que autre manifestation. Le terme utilisé est : « force demeurera à la loi ». Traduit en langage audible pour la population, cela signifie : « manifestez et vous serez tués, au nom de la loi ».
En France, en 2005 , lors des émeutes de banlieues, des centaines d’ automobiles ont été brûlées sans que, dans le même temps, la police ne tire sur UN SEUL manifestant . 4/- l’interpellation, permanente, des autorités publiques sur leur responsabilité en cas de mort
d’homme au cours d’une manifestation.
L’activité de défense
du Collectif des Citoyens Camerounais contre l’utilisation d’Armes à feu par les forces de l’ordre lors des Manifestations, consiste à :

We say, the police are not there to shoot the young .
